When I took over the day-to-day operations of BeautyRiot.com (a Total Beauty Media property) in 2010 the site was in the middle of a massive re-branding and re-launch. The basic design was set, but when it came to the content I had the opportunity to develop it essentially from scratch. Everything from honing in on the target audience, developing the voice and creating our signature features (like our wildly popular “dare” series) was done in just a few short months before the official launch.
Most of my role with BeautyRiot involved editing content and running the site, but below are links and screenshots for a few of the stories I wrote:
